Gorgeous, late seventies, early eighties, Mary Mcfadden Couture gown incorporating her signature pleat technique in the fabric. Her couture line is the best examples of this fabrication - she used silks and high end finishes and the gowns where constructed and finished by hand. The color is a ice blue - as pale as can be and thick bands of beading and large rhinestones encircle the waist and criss coss over the bodice giving it a beautiful Grecian feel! The bodice is lined in tissue silk and the gown feels like a dream on. A really beautiful example of her work and sure to continue to increase in value since it is her couture line! Excellent condition!
